Central catadioptric image processing with geodesic metric

International audience; Because of the distortions produced by the insertion of a mirror, catadioptric images cannot be processed similarly to classical perspective images. Now, although the equivalence between such images and spherical images is well known, the use of spherical harmonic analysis often leads to image processing methods which are more difficult to implement. Using discourse markers to negotiate epistemic stance: A view from situated language use

Abstract In this paper, I analyse the usage of a discourse marker =mari, belonging to the epistemic paradigm attested in Upper Napo Kichwa (Quechuan, Ecuador). I show that the use of =mari indicates that the information is known well to the speaker, but also to some extent familiar to the addressee. In situated language use, the marker contributes to creating a knowing epistemic stance of the speaker. The analysis presented here is based on a 13-h documentary corpus of interactive Upper Napo Kichwa discourse, recorded on audio and video. Sociology has constructed a male worldview that entails a biased interpretation of social reality. For its part, the traditional economy has made invisible the dependence of the commercial sphere of the domestic sphere. And in the field of political science, we also find many gender biases in basic concepts such as justice, equality or citizenship. This article, based on the work done by the authors in the Guia per a una docència universitària amb perspectiva de gènere de Sociologia, Economia i Ciència Política, offers some proposals, teaching resources and consultation tools to introduce the gender perspective in teaching, knowledge transfer and research in these disciplines.

This paper offers an explanation of the link between grandiose narcissism and support for radical right parties. Drawing on representative data of the GESIS Panel ( N = 2827), focusing on support for the German radical right populist party Alternative for Germany in 2016 and treating grandiose narcissism as a two–dimensional concept, it is shown that the effects of grandiose narcissism are indirect rather than direct. The paper also reveals that it is mainly narcissistic rivalry that accounts for radical right party support, whereas narcissistic admiration has a protecting relationship. The Spanish legal system provides specific protection for victims of gender violence, the paper addresses the legal situation of minors who are dependent on women victims of this type of violence. It analyses their procedural situation and, in particular, the criminal remedies for their protection. In a particular way, the aggravating circumstance of committing the act in their presence and the penalties that affect parental authority are examined.

The personal decision about the professional future of the minor, constitutes an aspect of the development of his free personality, and, like every decision that affects him, it must be adopted considering the principle of the best interests of the child. The parents, in the exercise of parental authority, have the legal representation of their minor children, except for the acts related to the personality rights, which can be carried out by the minor child himself if he is mature enough. When personality rights and economic rights converge, it is necessary to determine the role the parents play, which in the end will always have to be the protection and respect for their children?s rights.
